The new critical voice of the old, tired reality: thus, the back cover, is called Michael Lorefice, budding writer who recently published the His first novel titled The sky in ruins. The story of the protagonist, Alberto Durante, can be read on several levels. Simply the biographical story of this young, an inner journey in search of the questions that weigh heavily on the minds of young people of today; a philosophical narrative, where the big problems are always declined with unusual accents and incisors. This is confirmed by the titles of the two parties in which they were collected the 10 chapters: shadows and reflections of the self-same . Once again, the literary language becomes an opportunity to make an existential journey, a pilgrimage between the critical current of the times, fears, hopes, disappointments, expectations. We spoke directly with the author.
you introduce yourself briefly to our readers?
I am a funny boy of twenty, a person a bit 'crazy I would say, but fun, the classic type that remains impressed, maybe because I do not care what people think of me, but I care that people think of me and that's it.
What prompted you to write a novel?
I think the writing is now the only way to make surviving civil disobedience, to rebel, to express our dissent take my pen and begin to use the stick.
What are the key issues are addressed?
The arguments are many, many, although there are a few main guidelines: to begin with I try to express dismay that I try to reality, a reality that I find inconsistent and imperceptible to the human being. Secondly, I try to do a critical analysis of society in which we live, especially referring to the Italian situation is really embarrassing. In the end, I tried to think about the human condition as such, I tried to analyze the feelings that an individual test in their lifetime and all the feelings related to them.
Lorefice As Michael is the protagonist? And how is Alberto During the readers?
I find that in general an author, during the drafting of their writings, included in its characters a bit 'of what is a bit' of what is not, and some 'of what would be , and the same thing I think the players do when they immersed in the story.
I want to clarify however, that in the end I used to express the concepts Alberto, and in fact I consider them the real protagonists of my novel.
